You are invited to the November 9th Planning Commission Work Session for the General Plan Update

The public is invited to attend a Ventura County Planning Commission Work Session on Thursday, November 9, at 8:30 A.M., and provide input on activities related to the General Plan Update. Planning Division staff and project consultants will be discussing results of public outreach recently concluded on the proposed Vision Statement and Guiding Principles, the results of a countywide public survey, and revisions to the Draft Background Report. As the principal advisory body for the General Plan Update project, the Planning Commission will provide input to Planning Division staff during the Work Session. The public will also be able to provide comments.

The Planning Commission Work Session will be held at 800 S. Victoria Ave. Ventura, CA 93009, County Government Center, Hall of Administration, Board of Supervisors Hearing Room. The staff report will be available on the Planning Division’s website at at vcrma.org/planning/hearings-agendas/planning-commission-hearings, on the General Plan Update website at vc2040.org/planning-commission or at the Planning Division Counter from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, a week before the Work Session.
